Entitled "In search of Sor's orchestra: the mysterious sound world of the 19th century guitar." It focuses on the topic of implied orchestration in the 19th century guitar repertoire. With Claire's approach putting accessibility at the forefront, the concepts in this presentation will be both easily understood by listeners with minimal or no musical background and thought provoking and stimulating for guitarists who may wish to incorporate them into their own musical practice. After the presentation each masterclass participant will then have 30-45min each (depending on numbers) with Claire Whether you’re a guitar student looking to develop your playing, or simply a lover of great music, this intimate workshop and masterclass offers a rare insight into the artistry, technique and musicianship of an international performer.
