2PM SHOW! Beloved alt-country duo Skyscraper Stan and Oskar Herbig are bringing their tight lyrical harmony and weaving guitars to Thirroul. Long time collaborators and even longer time cousins, Stan and Oskar have toured Australia relentlessly for the past decade, appearing on some of the nations largest festival stages, sometimes as a duo, sometimes fronting the Melbourne band Skyscraper Stan and the Commission Flats. Stan's observational lyricism and wordplay have garnered him a reputation as one of the more exciting songwriters working in Australia today while Oskar's guitar work, drawing from a broad range of influences, lends the duo a sound both esoteric and familiar. Catch them at Frank's Wild Years on the afternoon of Saturday November 14, doors at 2pm.
