The Victory Lab's Little Launchers Kids MTB Skills Clinic - Ages 4-7

This clinic is for younger kids aged 5-7 who are beginner riders. We only accept pedal bikes, no balance bikes or training wheels. We welcome kids transitioning to a pedal bike and need that little bit of extra help to master it. Groups are kept small for more one-one-one tuition and guidance. Each session will have two instructors allowing for the group to be split according to abilities and age. The session will involve: • core foundation skills (body position, coordination, where to look, etc) • core body positioning • balance • steering • proper braking • using gears (if the bike has them) • riding on and off road • trail riding • bike safety (on and off road) • riding etiquette • having fun and a chance to meet others Location is Cringila Hills MTB Park in Wollongong. Cringila is the perfect venue to learn new skills, improve existing skills, and really practice what you've learned. Everything is close which maximises your practice, instead of wasting time pushing up long tracks. Cringila has a pump track which is perfect for working on body position, balance, pedalling, and looking where you want to go. The trail looping around the park is a great way for new riders to build their confidence off road.
