Bharat Renewable Energy (BRE) Summit & Expo 2026

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India, is organising the Bharat Renewable Energy (BRE) Summit & Expo 2026, its flagship international platform dedicated to advancing investment, innovation and collaboration across the global renewable energy ecosystem from 2-5 November 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, India. Building on the legacy of four editions of RE-INVEST held since 2015, the 2026 edition marks a significant expansion by bringing together three major global platforms- the RE-INVEST, the 9th Assembly of the International Solar Alliance (ISA), and the 4th International Conference on Green Hydrogen (ICGH), under one integrated platform. The EU and India share a long-standing and strong partnership in advancing the clean energy transition. The EU-India Clean Energy and Climate Partnership (CECP) established in the year 2016 and now in its third phase, reflects the long-standing commitment of both sides to deepen cooperation on clean energy and climate action. The 16th EU-India Summit held in January 2026 further reinforced the strong political momentum underpinning bilateral cooperation, including the announcement of the conclusion of negotiations on the EU-India Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and the reaffirmation of leaders’ commitment to accelerating the clean energy transition through enhanced bilateral cooperation. The EU brings decades of experience and expertise in clean-tech manufacturing, renewable energy deployment, grid integration and energy market design, which can complement India’s scale, growing market and clean energy ambitions. This creates a strong foundation for a mutually beneficial and strategic EU-India partnership, combining European technology, innovation and investment capabilities with India’s market potential and deployment scale. Against this backdrop, the BRE Summit & Expo 2026 offers a strategic platform to translate the policy dialogues into stronger industry engagement, technology cooperation and investment partnerships. The proposed roundtable, organised by MNRE, aims to build high-level awareness of the BRE Summit & Expo 2026 among key European stakeholders and showcase the opportunities emerging from India’s rapidly expanding clean energy market. It will highlight India’s policy and investment landscape, market potential and demand for clean technologies, infrastructure and financing, while providing a platform for European industry to share perspective for technology cooperation, investment, and business partnerships that can enhance energy security, sustainable growth and the clean energy transition in both the EU and India.
