A public event marking the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on 25 November. A public event marking the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on 25 November. Together with ICHRP Belgium, VIVA SALUD Belgium and Solidarity Circle. The event will bring together women environmental defenders defending their territories and the environment, particularly in the context of mining and extractive industries. From Colombia to the Philippines and Congo, women environmental defenders are on the frontlines of the fight against extractive industries, facing threats and violence as they defend their territories, communities and rights.
