Full description from organizer

Breaking the Code: Women Building the Future of Cybersecurity is a panel discussion organised by Womenpreneur as part of The Future of Tech is Female 2026, exploring the opportunities, challenges and career paths available to women in cybersecurity. As one of the fastest-growing sectors in technology, cybersecurity faces a significant talent shortage and a persistent gender diversity gap. Yet women entrepreneurs and professionals are challenging stereotypes, developing innovative solutions and helping shape the future of the industry. Bringing together Elisa Huberty (Project Manager at Womenpreneur), Katia Villegas (Cyber & Information Security Expert) and Asmae Ben Bahida (Founder & Director of Just BIM It), the discussion will explore what it takes to build a successful career or launch a business in cybersecurity. Through personal experiences, practical advice and honest conversations, speakers will share their professional journeys, the barriers they have encountered and the opportunities emerging in the sector. The panel will conclude with an interactive Q&A, allowing participants to ask questions, explore potential career paths and discover how to take their first steps into cybersecurity. Whether considering a career change, exploring a startup idea or simply curious about the field, this event aims to break stereotypes, highlight opportunities and encourage more women to see themselves in cybersecurity.
