De vijfendertig minuten durende performance krijgt vorm door een conceptuele kentering van Criscitiello’s eerdere werk. Voor deze performance werkt ze met een ensemble van drie vrouwen: Alice Sinephro, Celine Bodson en Grazyna Bienkowski. Cello, viool, piano, synthesizers, elektronische texturen, stem, beweging en tekst komen samen en vormen één collectief lichaam. Het werk bevindt zich op het snijvlak van kamermuziek en elektronische compositie en ontstaat uit denkbeeldige gesprekken met en tussen kunstenaars, schrijvers, muzikanten en denkers, onder wie Octavia Butler, Donna Haraway, Virginia Woolf, Lee Lozano, Ana Mendieta, Laurie Anderson en Kim Gordon. Vanuit het perspectief van de vrouwelijke ervaring onderzoekt Criscitiello vragen rond oorsprong en ontstaan. De performance put daarbij uit scheppingsmythen, feministische en queertheorie, folklore, kosmologie en esoterische rituelen. Deze voorstelling is geschikt voor bezoekers vanaf 16 jaar. The thirty-five minute performance marks a conceptual inversion of Criscitiello's previous performance practice toward an all-woman ensemble featuring Alice Sinephro, Celine Bodson and Grazyna Bienkowski activating cello, violin, piano, electric and synth bass, electronic textures, voice, gesture and text as a collective-singular body. The piece drifts between chamber music and electronic composition. The work unfolds through imagined conversations between female artists, writers, musicians, and thinkers including Octavia Butler, Donna Haraway, Virginia Woolf, Lee Lozano, Ana Mendieta, Laurie Anderson and Kim Gordon, among others - examining origin through the lens of the female experience, moving between creation myths, feminist and queer theory, folklore, cosmology, and esoteric ritual.
