EAT MORE TREES: RETHINKING HOW WE GROW FOOD

Can we grow food and restore nature at the same time? A documentary screening and conversation about a different way of farming. WHAT TO EXPECT We start with a welcome drink and reception with (on)kruid. Before the screening, filmmaker Arne Focketyn introduces Eat More Trees and takes us behind the documentary: why the journey began, what the filmmakers encountered along the way and the questions they brought home. Then: the screening of Eat More Trees. Afterwards, (on)kruid, Wervel and a participating farmer join the conversation. Together, we explore biodiversity, agro-ecology and what experimenting with different approaches to farming looks like in Flanders — including the opportunities, challenges and realities in the field.
