Full description from organizerShow less
Julie from Voedselbos Zwijntjesbos is coming to CATAPA residency to give us an inspiring presentation on this initiative. One hectare of the Zwijntjesbos (a public park in the City of Ghent) is maintained and managed as a food forest by a group of volunteers. The harvest is varied and full of surprises, but that’s secondary. Education and the social aspect are the main focus. Young and old alike roll up their sleeves to help shape this place. The first shrubs were planted in 2020. The presentation of Julie will be followed by a Q&A and a few tastings from the forest !
