Pacific Voices Presents: The Sounds of Christmas

Experience the wonder, joy, and beauty of Christmas with Pacific Voices in a spectacular celebration of the season! Taking place at Gateway Church in Abbotsford at 2 pm and 7 pm, the concert will feature over 250 singers, a live orchestra, stunning harmonies, energetic choreography, handbells, and a few surprises along the way. The Sounds of Christmas promises to be a feast for both the ears and the eyes! From the joyful sounds of John Rutter's beloved Star Carol and Harry Simeone's Do You Hear What I Hear? to the hauntingly beautiful Ubi Caritas by Ola Gjeilo, this year's program is filled with musical moments that will stir your heart and lift your spirits. Enjoy Phil Wickham's beautiful Away in a Manger (Forever Amen), exciting performances featuring our own talented soloists, and a special presentation of Michael W. Smith's Christmas Angels sung by our very own Pacific Voices parents! And of course, no Christmas celebration would be complete without the opportunity for our audience to join their voices with our choirs and orchestra in singing some of the season's most beloved carols. With six choirs taking the stage, from our youngest singers to our most advanced ensembles, expect everything from tender, breathtaking moments to thrilling, orchestra celebrations! More than just a concert, The Sounds of Christmas is a joyful, family-friendly experience that brings together the wonder of the season, the excitement of live music, and the beautiful message of Christ's birth. Gather your family and friends, make some Christmas memories, and join us for an unforgettable celebration of the season!
