Understanding Neurodiversity; Supporting Children & Families

Learn how to support the children and families in your car, leaving empowered on how to approach delicate conversations in new ways. Workshop Discription: Participants will explore current disability technology, and the strengths and abilities each person brings while learning about barriers that make accessability challenging. Participants will learn wise practices for supporting neurodivergent children. Participants will also explore ways to support families when a concern has been identifiedand how to approach these conversations with respect, understanding and compassion. Facilitator Bio: Karen has over the 30 year experience working with children and families. Throughout her career her focus has been on helping people to connect with themselves and others and find their place in the world. Her goal is to create a safe spaces where all people are welcome.
