A Very New Wave Xmas II - Night 2

Saturday sold out! UK Calling adds Dec 18 at The Great Hall with our biggest horn section ever. A special night for 2 Tone fans! A VERY NEW WAVE XMAS II - NIGHT 2FRIDAY, DECEMBER 18 | THE GREAT HALL, TORONTO ONE SOLD-OUT NIGHT WASN'T ENOUGH! After selling out our Saturday, December 19 Christmas show, we're adding a second night at The Great Hall! But we're not simply repeating the same show. On Friday, December 18, UK Calling is putting together something a little different, featuring the biggest horn section we've ever had on stage! And for the real 2 Tone fans out there, this is definitely the night you'll want to check out. With an expanded horn section, we'll be digging a little deeper into the music of The Specials, Madness, The English Beat and more. Of course, there'll still be plenty of your favourite British new wave, post-punk and '80s alternative classics from The Cure, New Order, Depeche Mode, The Clash, The Smiths, Tears for Fears and more. And despite the name, this is NOT a Christmas show! In fact, a few members of the band are downright Grinches. We're just borrowing the festive season as an excuse to get everyone together for another great night of music. And really, what better way to wrap up an incredible year than with one last big night together? If you've seen UK Calling before, you already know how much fun we have bringing this music to life. This time, we're taking the opportunity to do something we haven't done before. And if you've never seen us, well, this is a pretty good place to start. Join us at the beautiful Great Hall for a huge night of music, dancing and some serious 2 Tone energy before the year is out.
