No experience needed. All supplies provided. We'll have a table full of magazines, books, images and other materials to explore. We'll start with a little direction, then leave you to create whatever you like. Come on your own or bring a friend. You can follow a prompt, bring an idea you've been thinking about or simply see what comes to fruition. There's no right way to collage, and no masterpiece expected. Your hosts Collé is a Toronto-based mobile collage experience hosted by Courtney and Michelle. We bring collage into the cafés, restaurants and gathering spaces around our city. Our events are open to everyone, whether you've been making art your whole life or haven't picked up a pair of scissors in years. The space Coffee & All That Jazz is a cozy neighbourhood café at the north end of Roncesvalles. A familiar gathering spot for locals, it hosts live jazz every Saturday and has the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Easily accessible by the 506 streetcar or a short walk from Dundas West Station on Line 2. All are welcome. All materials are provided. Come and go as you please.
