Find fellowship in this chapter of life. Age and Rage in the company of others who are just as forgetful and sweaty as you are. This gathering is for anyone who is experiencing perimenopause or menopause, regardless of gender. Masks are encouraged. Come As You Are is wheelchair accessible about auntie catherine As an award-winning author and screenwriter, I have used storytelling and artmaking as a tool for transformation for decades. I have been honoured to work with communities ranging from youth affected by war to LGBTQ2S folks struggling with their mental health; activists suffering from burnout to educators suffering from creative stagnation. In this time of profound collective grief due to environmental collapse and the rise of fascism, I have been called to be a Death and Grief Doula. Under the tutelage of Kelly Butler's Advanced Practice Doula Program, I am now using my skills in writing, play, illustration, movement to help tend to the heart-wounds of others and guide them in processing their loss. I am proud to be a Filipinx diasporic queer femme who is married into the Navajo nation. I aim to create space that is pro-Black, pro-Indigenous, pro-Palestine, anti-colonial and inclusive to all bodies and abilities.
