Handpan Classes in Downtown Toronto (6-Week Program)

All levels welcome. This course is for dedicated beginners to intermediate level players. The goal of this program is to give you the tools that you need to practice effectively, grow your musical vocabulary (what you're able to play), and become a more confident player. You'll advance at your own pace, so no pressure if you feel like the "least skilled" person in the room. It's all about bringing your own flavour to your playing. Slow and spacious is as valuable as fast and flashy. Self-paced structure. This program comes with a video course. For quick learners, feel free to jump ahead in the course. Just be careful not to move too quickly. There's depth to every lesson, so make the most out of each week and fully integrate the lesson into your playing. Create and share. Use the patterns that you learn as the foundation for your own creativity. Together we'll learn compositional structures that can help you to apply the patterns and techniques and compose your own song. Jam and share. Every other week, we will have a jam session where we can all play and have fun together, while applying what we've learned into some informal impovisation.
