Vol 23: Ukrainian poet SERHII TITOV reads on love, vulnerability and the trouble of holding onto either, with KIRILL SAVRANSKY at the piano. An intimate night of poetry and live music by candlelight. Grab a drink, find a seat and bring someone you like. Or don't. This is part of INSTITUT's UKRAINIAN HERITAGE MONTH volume - music, film, art and story, all Ukrainian for this showcase month. Underground at 620 Spadina Ave - around the back, through the lot to the steel doors, down the stairs, past the mechanical room, through the swinging wood laminate door... His work has appeared in Dzvin and across Ukrainian literary media, with selected poems published in German translation. KIRILL SAVRANSKY is a Toronto-based pianist, DJ and composer moving between piano improvisation, electronic sound and cinematic textures.
