Live in the Junction: 8ve Jazz at The Alpine

JazzInToronto and StuSells present the Toronto debut of 8ve Jazz, a group of young artists based in Milton. Come hear the next generation! 8ve is a six piece jazz combo made up of highschool students with a passion for music. The band is composed of a pianist, drummer and bassist on rhythm section, as well as a trombonist, alto, and trumpet players for the horn section. Songs played range from real book classics, to composed pieces for small ensembles. Over the past year, 8ve has developed to perform at restaurants, street parties, and community events across Milton. This has even led them to win a gold ranking at the Canadian national music fest at Niagara this year. 8ve, as a group, is very excited to get to play at the Alpine and they are looking forward to this great opportunity!
