The Third Annual Blue Butterfly Tea

The community of York Region is invited to join Hope House Community Hospice for our Blue Butterfly Tea, in honour of children's grief! The community of York Region and beyond is invited to join Hope House Community Hospice for our 3rd annual Blue Butterfly Tea, in honour of Children's Grief Awareness Day. This in-person event will be held at the Laskay Hall in King City, and seeks to bring attention to the nearly 3,000 children that are bereaved in York Region each year, by creating a welcoming space for our community to gather, learn about children's grief, and find ways to support one another through loss. The afternoon will feature presentations from Julia Zinn, Help Us Understand Grief Counsellor at Hope House Community Hospice, and special guest (to be announced), as well as interactive exhibits, and of course, traditional afternoon tea. This event aims to enhance grief awareness in York Region and help us establish a compassionate community where nobody has to face grief alone, children included. Join us for a meaningful afternoon of learning, community, and tasty treats.
