Bring clothes that need a little TLC, and we’ll show you how to fix them. No experience or tools required :) ✨ Join us for Wear & Repair - a chill, hand-sewing workshop and hangout! Let’s get crafty together on Wednesday, October 14th, from 6:00–9:00 PM at Junto Studio (915 Dupont St, Unit 202) 🧵 All crafting materials provided 🧃 Light snacks and refreshments will be provided 🎟️ PWYC (pay what you can - suggested $15 minimum spend) 🛍️ Suggested items to bring: • Clothes with small rips, tears, holes, or thinning areas • Clothes with missing, loose, or broken buttons • Pants or shirts to hem or shorten (no hemming jeans) • Clothes with loose or coming-undone seams • Clothes with straps, tabs, or small fabric pieces that have come loose • Clothing you'd like to reinforce or decorate with visible mending • An old or well-loved garment you'd like to repair rather than replace ** Note: Please bring garments with relatively small, manageable repairs. This workshop focuses on hand-sewing and basic mending rather than major alterations, tailoring, zipper replacement, or extensive reconstruction ** 🪡 If you don't have something to repair, no problem! You can still participate. Fabric scraps will be provided so you can practice basic hand-sewing techniques, patches, visible mending, buttons, and other repairs ——— The studio is not wheelchair accessible. There are two steps at the front entrance, followed by a flight of 17 stairs leading up to the studio Please note: Junto Studio is a space for everyone.
