Create Your Space - Teen Girl (9-12 yr old) Retreat

A fun retreat where girls 9-12 get to explore creativity, make new friends, and design their own chill space. Create Your Space | Wellness Retreat for Girls (Ages 9–12) Give your daughter the gift of a day to slow down, breathe, reconnect, and discover her intuition and personal power. Join us on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM at the beautiful Misty Ridge Retreat B&B for a full-day wellness retreat designed to help girls build confidence, emotional resilience, self-awareness, and meaningful friendships in a safe, supportive, nature-filled environment. Held on a public school board PD Day, this retreat provides girls with the opportunity to step away from the demands of school and spend the day developing practical tools to navigate friendships, social pressures, big emotions, self-expectations, and everyday challenges with greater confidence and resilience. Throughout the day, participants will experience: • Guided breathwork • Sound healing • Gentle movement and mindfulness • Nature connection • Creative expression • Confidence-building activities • Connection circles • Relaxation and self-care practices Girls will leave feeling more connected to themselves, equipped with practical wellness tools, and empowered to trust their intuition, regulate their emotions, and embrace the unique strengths that make them who they are. Create Your Space is a supportive wellness retreat that includes guided breathwork, gentle movement, mindfulness, sound healing, relaxation practices, creative activities, and time spent outdoors. All activities are age-appropriate and participation is always voluntary. Girls are encouraged to participate at a pace that feels comfortable for them and may choose to opt out of any activity. Parents or guardians are responsible for informing the facilitators of any medical conditions, allergies, medications, injuries, sensory needs, behavioural considerations, or other information that may impact their child's participation. Please notify us in advance if your child has a history of severe asthma or respiratory conditions, epilepsy or seizure disorders, significant cardiovascular conditions, recent surgery, concussion, or any physical or emotional health concerns requiring accommodation. By registering your child for this event, you acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks associated with physical movement, outdoor activities, and wellness practices. You accept responsibility for your child's participation and agree to release and hold harmless Soil & Soul Intrinsic Wellness, Kerri Single, Redefine Supports, Ashley Johnson, Misty Ridge Retreat B&B, and all facilitators, volunteers, and staff from liability for any injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from participation, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct. In the event of a medical emergency, every reasonable effort will be made to contact a parent or guardian immediately. If necessary, emergency medical services will be contacted, and parents or guardians remain responsible for any associated medical costs. Photography & Media Consent: By registering for this event, you grant permission for photographs and/or short video clips taken during the retreat to be used by Soil & Soul Intrinsic Wellness and Redefine Supports for promotional, educational, website, and social media purposes. If you prefer that your child not be photographed or recorded, please notify us in writing prior to the event, and we will gladly respect your request.
