Dream Pitch Night

Big Dreams. Brave People. A Community That Believes in Them. What happens when a community comes together to believe in someone's dream? Come find out! On December 3, we're bringing together an incredible group of everyday people who have spent the past several weeks discovering their strengths, uncovering their dreams, and taking brave steps toward making them happen. Now, they're ready to PITCH! And we want YOU in the room cheering them on! This Isn't Your Typical Pitch Night At Dream Academy, we believe everyone has something valuable to offer their community. Sometimes, all someone needs is a little encouragement, a few connections, and someone who believes in what's possible. Our pitchers will share: • Their Dream: What they hope to create or change. • Their Why: The story and passion behind their dream. • Their Ask: What they need to take their next brave step. Each pitcher will have the opportunity to receive up to $500 in microgrant funding to help move their dream forward. But here's what we know: The greatest resource in the room isn't always money. It's PEOPLE. You might have a connection, a skill, a resource, or simply the encouragement that helps someone's dream take flight. Why Should You Come? Because something powerful happens when people feel seen, heard, and supported. You don't need to be an entrepreneur, a business expert, or someone with money to give. Just come ready to listen, celebrate, encourage, and maybe even discover how you can be part of someone's story. EVENT DETAILS 📅 Thursday, December 3, 2026 🕖 7:00 PM 📍 The Hub – 2385 74th Ave SE, Calgary 🎟️ Everyone is welcome! Let's Be a Community That Releases Dreams! Dream Academy is an initiative of Bravely Connected Communities, a Calgary-based nonprofit dedicated to building belonging, unlocking potential, and growing stronger neighbourhoods. We believe dreams shouldn't be limited by someone's income, circumstances, or connections. And we believe that when one person flourishes, our whole community grows stronger. Come meet the dreamers. Hear their stories. Cheer them on. Because sometimes the most powerful thing you can say to someone is: "I believe in you. Let's see what's possible!"
