Remove the guess work and uncertainty surrounding fresh pasta dough, and achieve consistent results that your friends and family will love. We call it “Pasta Therapy”, and once you are confident in your dough, you’ll understand; there is nothing more satisfying than learning a new pasta shape at home. This event is part of our Masterclass Series, where we go above and beyond everyday cooking techniques. This series is designed to do more than just teach you recipes - we intend to unlock your passion and creativity in the kitchen by giving you a “behind the curtain” look at the why and how of Italian cooking. When you truly understand what is going on in your food, recipes become guidelines and the possibilities are endless. What you’ll learn: • How to make consistently stunning pasta dough at home. • How to adjust recipes on the fly, and make use of what you have available. • 10+ distinctive pasta shapes: Fettuccine, Spaghetti, Tagliatelle, Cavatelli, Rigatoni, Garganelli, Pici, Pappardelle, Farfalle, Orecchiette, and more! (Don’t see your favorite? Just ask!) • How to level up your pasta game, incorporating more flavor, texture, and vibrant color into your pasta dough using ingredients like spinach, saffron and beet root. • How to use a variety of tools to bend the pasta dough to your will. • What you’ll make: • Two distinct pasta doughs, by hand: Pasta di Semola and Pasta all'Uovo • As much fresh pasta as you can carry, using the dough you make as well as Beetroot, Spinach, and Egg Yolk doughs that will be provided to you. What you’ll eat: • A fresh Pappardelle dish, prepared from scratch right in front of you - with Tomato Vodka sauce, Burrata, and Basil. • Tiramisu, prepared in house by the talented Lina’s team.
