Marco Chioini: Beyond the Box | 2-Day Lettering & Design Workshop

Break creative habits and discover fresh approaches to letters, composition and design with acclaimed artist Marco Chioini. Every artist develops habits. You find what works. You do it again. And again. Until one day you realize that what once felt like your style might have quietly become your box. In Beyond the Box, internationally acclaimed lettering artist Marco Chioini challenges you to shake up the familiar and discover new ways of thinking about letters, composition, design and artistic expression. Flourish Festival of Letters & Art Through guided exercises and discussion, you’ll experiment with different approaches to composition and discover what happens when you deliberately step outside the choices you usually make. This isn’t about abandoning everything you know. It’s about asking: What else could I do with it? Marco’s work lives in that fascinating space between calligraphy and contemporary art, making this workshop especially interesting for calligraphers as well as graphic designers, typographers, illustrators and artists looking for fresh creative direction. If your work has started feeling predictable, or you’re wondering “What comes next?”, this workshop was made for you.
