Parksgiving by Huggabowl

Every meal purchased buys a meal for you and for a stranger. Live music, good food, and taking care of your community! Our annual keystone event for Huggabowl, where the goal is always to feed it forward and care for people with dignity. Every $30 ticket buys two meals; one for you and one for someone else, or the option is always there to feed two strangers with your ticket! The event takes place at Centruy Gardens Park in Downtown Calgary, located at 826 8 Street SW. Parking may be limited, but it is right next to the 8th Street Train Station. On the train station side, there will be a ticket station table to get you checked in, and lots of volunteers will be around to help with any questions. There will be a full thanksgiving meal with dinner pies from Pie Junkie, as well as food from local sponsors, and plenty of dessert to go around! Live music will be playing all day, so after you grab your meal, you are more than welcome to stick around for the show. A live mural artist will be helping us make a painting for the event that everyone can contribute to, so feel free to take a look around. There will also be a donation station of essentials that the community has brought together for folks, including used winter clothes, hygiene products, takeaway meals, and much more. We will also be taking monetary donations on the day to support our meal service programs. Several community members will also be taking part in bringing people together through our indigenous partner organizations. Details to come!
