Aileé Zaga: Aileé Zaga [I-leh Zah-ga] is a Mexican art pop songwriter-producer based in British Columbia, Canada. Influenced by boundary-pushing acts such as Björk and Imogen Heap, she artfully weaves elements of electronic, classical, and alternative music, creating a balance between memorable melodies and experimental sounds. Her contemplative lyrics explore her experiences as a woman and an immigrant. Zaga is carving out her space in the local music scene, earning nominations for “Best of Kelowna 2024” in the categories of “Best Local Musician” and “Overall YouTube Channel.” Her 2023 single, Written in the Earth, co-produced with Alex DeGroot (Zola Jesus), received praise from The Permanent Rain Press and Canadian Beats. She has shared the stage with acts such as Lady Starlight, Longwalkshortdock, Luke Wallace, Kris Anders, and Down The Lees.
