CBC P.E.I. Open House : Guided Tours

Choose your tour time Free guided tours run every 10 minutes and will give you the chance to see the newsroom up close. Tour space is limited and registration is required, so be sure to reserve your free spot in advance. Please arrive at the tour check-in area 10 minutes in the tent behind the CBC building ahead of your scheduled time. We are committed to making this event accessible to everyone. Stick around after Your tour may be timed, but your visit does not have to be! The CBC P.E.I. Open House runs from 4 to 8 p.m., with free activities outside the station for you to explore before or after your tour. Try our photo booth, get up close with some of the audio and video equipment we use in the field, and discover more ways to watch, listen and stay connected with CBC. You can also enjoy free refreshments and a chance to win CBC prizes. You do not need a tour ticket to drop by the tent. Learn more here. No ticket is required to enjoy the outdoor open house activities. Getting there There is no public parking available at CBC P.E.I. during the open house, but there are plenty of ways to get there. Biking in? We’ve got you. In partnership with Bike Friendly Communities PEI, secure bicycle parking will be available on site. And as a little thank you for arriving on two wheels, cyclists will receive a special CBC item. Coming by car? You can park at Sobeys, 400 University Ave., just down the road from the station. Drop-offs are also welcome at the front entrance of CBC P.E.I. Using transit? Hop off at University Ave. near Sobeys and you’re just a short walk away.
