Science Student and Industry Pizza Mixer

Join UPEI ExEd for lunch and meaningful connections with local science industry professionals. UPEI’s Experiential Education Department is excited to invite you to our October Networking Mixer, designed specifically for Science students! Come grab a free slice of pizza and connect directly with local science employers and organizations. Whether you are studying Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Climate Change, or another science discipline, this is a great chance to explore diverse career paths and chat about various roles - from lab technicians and fieldwork to data analysis and beyond. Please note: This is a networking and career exploration event, not a traditional job fair. While future employment opportunities may naturally come up in conversation, the focus here is on building relationships, learning from industry professionals, and discovering what’s possible with your degree in a relaxed setting. Why you should attend: • Practice networking in a welcoming, low-pressure environment. • Explore career paths and learn directly from professionals about their daily work and industry trends. • Discover opportunities for future projects, mentorship, or career pathways. • Enjoy free pizza and connect with fellow science students and campus peers! Featured Organizations Include: • PEI BioAlliance • (Additional organizations to be announced!) Whether you're mapping out your future career or just want to make some great local connections over lunch, this mixer is the place to be. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Jess Cameron at [email protected].
