Full description from organizerShow less
AI is changing how we study the mind. It's also changing the mind itself. This Tech Thursday, we're exploring where AI and the human mind meet: what brain research and language models can teach us about each other, how AI is already showing up in psychology and mental health, and the ethical questions that come with it. Featuring: Geoffrey Rockwell, Professor of Philosophy and Humanities Computing, University of Alberta Alona Fyshe, Associate Professor, University of Alberta Moderated by: Kirsten Sokolovski, Host, Tech Thursday
