Christmas Stained Glass Workshop at Looma Hall

Join us at Looma Hall to learn the basics of copper foil stained glass making with artist and teacher, Fern McIver. Any level of experience can join this class - no experience required. Participants will learn the basic techniques of the copper foil method: foiling, soldering, and patinating. The class will make a simple suncatcher from a choice of Christmas themed patterns (i.e. santa, snowman, christmas pickle) to become familiar with techniques and materials used in stained glass making. Tools and materials are provided. Children 12 years and older can participate if accompanied by an adult. Both the adult and child must buy a ticket and each will be provided with a kit. Doors open at 9:00 AM. Class begins at 9:30. Refreshments will be provided. For more information, call or text Barb at (780) 920-4538 or e-mail [email protected]
