Noetic Lines: An Intuitive Art Workshop

Slow down, let the lines lead, and make something that’s entirely yours. Noetic Lines is a relaxed, beginner-friendly creative experience inspired by Neurographica and Zentangle. Through intuitive drawing, flowing lines, and repetitive patterns, you’ll slow down, let go of perfection, and enjoy the process of creating rather than worrying about the outcome. Over two hours, you’ll start with the “bones” of a drawing, using intuitive lines, shapes, or everyday objects as inspiration. Then you’ll learn simple linework techniques and patterns, and discover how repetition, variation, and experimentation can build designs that are completely your own. From there, bring your framework to life in your own way. Add detail, explore colour, or keep it minimal and monochromatic. Your instructor, Alaina, will demonstrate the foundational techniques and guide you through practical exercises, then give you space to experiment independently, with individual support whenever you need it. All materials are provided, along with a take-home pattern reference sheet to keep you practising. Who This Is For Recommended for ages 12 and up, no experience required.
