Steady in the Storm

Neuroscience Based Leadership for Women in Dentistry Join XXFactor Dentistry for an inspiring evening designed to help women in dentistry lead with greater clarity, confidence, and steadiness, even in the most demanding clinical environments. On October 15th from 6–9 PM at Lunar Edmonton, we’ll explore how neuroscience shapes leadership, decision-making, stress responses, and team dynamics. This evening will provide practical, evidence-based strategies to help you navigate pressure, strengthen communication, and create a healthier, more connected workplace. What You’ll Explore: • Neuroscience & Leadership: Understand how the brain influences leadership behavior, decision-making, and performance under pressure. • Stress & Cognitive Overload: Recognize how stress affects attention, emotional regulation, and communication, while identifying early signs of cognitive overload. • Self-Regulation Strategies: Learn practical techniques to move from reactive to intentional leadership during challenging patient, team, and operational moments. • Culture & Psychological Safety: Explore how emotional contagion and psychological safety influence team culture, motivation, and connection. • SMART Micropractices: Discover small, actionable practices to protect cognitive energy, improve clarity, and lead with steadiness and empathy. This is an opportunity to step away from the demands of dentistry, connect with fellow women in the profession, and leave with tools you can apply in both your practice and everyday life. Come reset, reconnect, and discover how to stay steady in the storm.
