The Well-Read Witches Book Club

Explore witchy texts with fellow magical book-lovers! Witches! Book-lovers! Have you been looking for a reason to spend more time reading books? Good news! Come join our new book club focusing on witchy reads. Discuss the attributes, lessons, and stories recorded in a range of titles related to witchcraft, Paganism, New Age, parapsychology, and other magical goodness. (For the time being, this club will focus on non-fiction books. If there's interest, we will either alternate between non-fiction witch books and witchy fiction books, or create a sister group that focuses on fiction.) For April our featured title will be: A Witch's Ally by Dodie Graham McKay This book explores the history of animals and magic, laying a foundation for discussions on finding, connecting with, and working with animal allies of your own. It includes recipes, spells, and rituals for working both with the living animals in your life, and animal spirits. (And as a bonus, the author is Canadian!) The book is available in paperback via Indigo and Amazon, and as an e-book for Kobo and Kindle readers. We will bring in copies of the book to WFL for purchase. Keep an eye on the Facebook event for updates! So get your read on, and come join us ready to chat about magic! (We'll also have tea and snacks!)
