Celebrity Wannabe

Ever wished you were Drake? Come prove it… or come watch others try. ✨ The DBBSA, in collaboration with the Black student societies at Dalhousie, presents the first of many Celebrity Wannabe events! 🌟 Inspired by the energy and culture of HBCU campus events, Celebrity Wannabe brings that same spirit to Halifax. 🎓 Ever wished you were Drake? Come prove it… or come watch others try. Contestants will step into the shoes of a celebrity, figuratively and literally, and perform a song as them. The costume, the moves, the attitude, all of it. The winner takes home an undisclosed prize, a trophy, and bragging rights until next year. 🏆 There are hundreds of Black students across Dalhousie, SMU, StFX, and MSVU, but we're spread out across different schools and faculties. This is where we come together to build something that will set the tone for years to come. And the crowd? You're the judges. Come loud, wear your best fit, and bring your friends. 🔊 📅 Friday, October 16 ⏰ 6:00 – 8:00 PM 📍 Student Union Building, Dalhousie University, Mcinnes auditorium 🎟️ Free entry ⚠️ Attendance is capped, so grab your ticket ASAP before they're gone!
