Looking for some offseason practice? Us too. Let's see how our snow legs handle the water on a surfboard. Grab your friends and let's shred some waves. Dal Ski + Snowboard Club (DSSC) is partnering with Kannon Beach to host a surf lesson on Saturday, Oct. 17th, 2026. WEATHER DEPENDANT BACKUP DATE: Saturday, Oct. 24th, 2026. Purchase of this ticket includes a rental board, leash, wetsuit and lesson with a Kannon surf instructor. No prior experience is needed! We will meet at the Kannon Beach Surf Shop, where you will get your boards and wetsuits. Once everyone is suited up, the instructor will walk you through surf etiquette, equipment housekeeping and basic movements of the sport, then take you out for a guided surf session!
