About your instructor Aura: Aura Carcueva has taught yoga for 20 years, guiding students through foundational and intermediate practices, kids’ and prenatal yoga, and restorative and gentle classes. Her broad teaching experience now informs her chair yoga classes, which offer an accessible way to support well-being. Before becoming a yoga teacher, Aura earned a BFA in Theatre and Dance from Simon Fraser University, where she studied movement disciplines including Tai Chi, Feldenkrais, the Alexander Technique, Laban Analysis, Pilates, voice, and yoga. She brings these influences, along with light-heartedness and a sense of play, to every class and encourages students to explore their practice.
