Film Night - Follemente

On a first date, Piero and Lara make polite talk while their inner voices (reason, impulse, insecurity, desire) argue. A witty look at love! What really happens inside our minds during a first date? FolleMente follows Piero and Lara as they meet for dinner, navigating the awkward excitement and uncertainty of getting to know someone new. Beneath their polite conversation, however, a lively debate unfolds inside their minds, where different aspects of their personalities (reason, impulse, insecurity, and desire) argue over what they should say or do next. As the evening progresses, these inner voices clash, collaborate, and sabotage one another, revealing the complexity of human emotions. Through humor and sharp observation, the film explores love, vulnerability, and the chaotic inner dialogue that shapes our romantic decisions. Presented in partnership with ICFF Directed by Paolo Genovese. An acclaimed Italian director and screenwriter known for his clever, character driven comedies that explore human relationships.
