This is a visual exploration of Ghana’s masquerade culture, a tradition where performance, costume, and sound converge into a powerful collective expression. The project highlights the intersections of fashion and music within masquerade practice, paying particular attention to the way fear both playful and haunting threads through the performances, aesthetics, and audience experience. artist Odartey Aryee.
