Asbestos Recertification Exam (Level 2 & Level 3) | Kelowna - (380191.000)

All asbestos workers in BC require WorkSafeBC certification. The session provides the WorkSafeBC written exam on Level 2 / 3 Certification. Please Note: The session will take place on November 20 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Pacific Time (PCT). Some calendars and devices may still display PDT or an incorrect time due to recent time zone updates. Please verify your local time to ensure you join at the correct start time. Asbestos Certification Level 2 and 3 requires re-certification every 3 years. If your certification expires within the next year, you should plan ahead and schedule a recertification exam. Pinchin is a WorkSafeBC-approved training provider for Asbestos Certification. Level 2 Asbestos Re-Certification is required for anyone who performs asbestos abatement (removing, repairing, transporting or disposing of material that is or may be asbestos). Level 3 Asbestos Re-Certification is required for anyone who plans, manages or supervises abatement work or is responsible for the health and safety on an asbestos worksite. This could be the Project Manager, Site Supervisor, Foreman, Lead Hand. The exam will be paper format, 20 multiple choice questions with 80% (16/20) required to pass. Registrants can sign up for 1 refresher training and the exam, or just the exam. Important notes: • You only need to recertify to the highest Level Certification you hold. E.g. If you hold a Level 3 Certificate, you only need to recertify the Level 3 exam. • If you hold a Level S you must also recertify that Level separately. • You must bring photo ID and your existing WSBC Certificate card. • WorkSafeBC limits exam attempts to 2 before taking the training course again. Each exam attempt must have a minimum of 24 hours between attempts. • You must hold a valid certificate or it has expired not longer than 12 months ago. If your certificate has expired longer than 12 months ago, you must enroll in the full Training Program. Pinchin is a WorkSafeBC-approved training provider for Asbestos Certification.
