Speed Dating Kelowna Pitch-Your-Friends Event

How It Works: This event is open to everyone! You can attend as a Presenter (open to non-singles, coupled friends, or anyone hyping up a buddy) or as a Single ready to be pitched. Presenters will deliver a short, fun 3–5 minute presentation about their friend. To make it super easy, we will send all presenters a Google Slides template with specific instructions and prompts—all you have to do is fill it in and submit it before the event! Please note this is a non-speed dating event. Ticket Includes: • Easy-to-follow presentation template • Single tickets include one drink and a small bag of popcorn • Dynamic Duo tickets are $5 cheaper, include a friend being pitched and a presenter, two drinks, and two bags of popcorn • Interactive voting rounds/awards • 25% off any future SDK event • Please note viewer tickets do not include a beer What to Expect: A hilarious, heartwarming evening where friends take the stage to pitch why their favorite single person is the ultimate catch. Expect lots of laughs, cheering, and a room full of supportive people cheering each other on. Atmosphere: Friendly, welcoming, and guided from start to finish. No pressure and absolutely no stage fright required for our singles. You don’t need to be an extrovert; just come as you are, grab a drink, and enjoy the presentations. Dress Code: Smart casual—choose something you feel good in and that reflects your personality. What to Bring: Your favorite hype-man or your single bestie! We handle the venue, the tech, and the hosting. Plus, your pitcher, presenter and dynamic duo ticket includes a beer to kick off the night! After the Event: Stick around for a relaxed, casual social hour to chat with the presenters, the singles, and everyone else in the room. If you don’t leave with a connection or a new friend this time, many guests return for future events.
