Arts Social

Come connect, get inspired, and discover the creative community happening all around you! Arts Social: Connect, Create & Discover Bringing our region's creative community together. Whether you're an artist, maker, musician, creative entrepreneur, arts professional, or part of a local arts organization or collective, you're invited to join us for an evening of connection, conversation, and community! Whether you're just starting out or have been part of the creative scene for years, this is a chance to meet fellow creatives, share ideas, and build new connections. Presented by the City of Cambridge, Co-Ex Collaborative, and Mood Yellow Gallery, this Arts Social is all about bringing the region's creative community together. With support from community partners like Preston Arts Collective and Galt Collective, we're looking forward to welcoming artists, creatives, and arts enthusiasts from Cambridge and surrounding communities for an evening of connection, collaboration, and inspiration! It's an opportunity to meet fellow creatives, connect with local arts organizations and collectives, discover resources and opportunities, and explore ways to get involved in the growing arts and culture scene across Cambridge and the surrounding region. What's happening? • Meet & Connect: Build relationships with fellow artists, creatives, cultural workers, organizations, collectives, and community builders. Connect with representatives and members of local creative groups, including Preston Arts Collective and Galt Collective. • Discover Local Opportunities: Learn about the people, projects, organizations, resources, and initiatives supporting arts and culture in our region. • Join the Artist Directory: Find out how to get listed, increase your visibility, and become part of a growing network of local artists and creatives. • Get Involved: Learn about opportunities to contribute to the future of arts and culture in Cambridge, including recruitment for the City's Arts & Culture Advisory Committee. Artist Trading Cards: Make One. Swap One. Make a Connection. Bring a little piece of your creativity to the Arts Social! Artist Trading Cards are a fun and personal way for artists and creatives to introduce themselves, showcase their work, and connect with others. Think of them as your own miniature, one-of-a-kind trading card: one side features your original artwork (in any medium, whether it's an illustration, painting, photograph, print, or something entirely different), while the other shares your name and contact information. Create your cards ahead of time and bring them along to trade with fellow creatives you'd love to connect with! Don't have one yet? No problem! We'll have supplies available at the event so you can make your own on the spot. Share your art, exchange cards, discover new talent, and leave with a pocketful of creative connections! And, of course, there will be food, drinks, resources, and plenty of opportunities to mingle! We can't wait to see you there!
