Cambridge - Women’s Focused Information Session and Detachment Tour

OPP behind the scenes look and discussion about the realities of policing. Please read the entirety of the instructions below before registering: The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is hosting a Women's Detachment Tour designed to assist women in breaking down some of the barriers of policing, by giving you firsthand behind the scenes look at the realities of a career in policing. The brief tour of the detachment will help showcase the work environment that you will hopefully one day immerse yourself into and the daily operations within the OPP at the frontline policing level. This event is intentionally designed to support women who are exploring a career in policing. It provides a welcoming space to ask questions and address common barriers specific to women considering this profession. To preserve the purpose and environment of the event, registration is reserved for women (including those who are cis, trans, AFAB and non-binary). If you do not identify as part of this audience, we sincerely appreciate your interest and encourage you to explore our other recruitment events and information sessions that are open to all applicants. Thank you for helping us create space for meaningful, focused conversations that support greater equity in policing.
