Dairy Modernization: Bus Tour into Perth County

Please join us for the bus tour version of Dairy Modernization. We will travel from the edge of Waterloo Region into the heart of Perth County, visiting farms that have taken different approaches to modernization. This will be a fast-paced tour, featuring 5 modernized farms and a hot lunch. The bus departs from Linwood Community Centre at 9:15 am and returns at 3:45 pm. Travelling from Linwood to St Paul’s Station, we'll make stops along the way to see a range of modernized dairy operations. As with all Dairy Modernization events, we are not selling anything. Dairy Modernization does not promote a particular milking system, ventilation strategy, bank, builder, or supplier. Our goal is simply to connect farmers who have modernized their operations with those facing decisions on how to best move their herds and families into the future. We recognize that there are many paths to success, and our focus is on providing opportunities to learn from fellow producers and see what is possible.
