Free Screening & Discussion: GET OUT

Join us for a free screening of Get Out followed by a discussion about all the twists, turns, and bone chilling moments! The Speculative Collective, a growing community group under UWaterloo's newly launched Pan-African Initiative for Research (PAIR), invites you to a free screening of the Oscar winning film, Get Out (R), in collaboration with LBIH and the Office of EDI-R. This will be followed by a post-film discussion. Make sure to arrive on time to grab nice seats and delicious snacks ;) This event is free and open to all, including community members not affliated with UWaterloo! What is the Speculative Collective? The Speculative Collective is a PAIR knowledge mobalization initiative, led by UWaterloo PhD Candidate and PAIR Fellow, Isra Saeed. We collectively engage with Afrofuturist stories, through film, music, lit, and other works of art. To stay up to date with our events, follow us on Eventbrite and Instagram!
