Experience the artistry of Laurier's talented students, faculty, and guests during our 2026–2027 concert season. After a full year of shows both in Canada and overseas, the Oscar Peterson Centennial Band is thrilled to present our live concert celebration of Oscar Peterson's life in music to Laurier. An integral part of Oscar Peterson's legacy is the doors he opened for those who followed in his footsteps in bringing musical excellence to the forefront of jazz performance. The Oscar Peterson Centennial Band provides audiences the opportunity to hear music from Peterson's near seven decade career, performed in the voices of some of the finest talent on both the national and international jazz scenes of today. Featuring JUNO Awards winners Robi Botos on piano, Mike Downes on bass, Mark McLean on drums and special guest trumpeter Andrew McAnsh, this evening promises to be a joyous and unforgettable celebration of one of Canada's most beloved national treasures.
