About this event
Join us planting the third phase of this special habitat for Wilmot Township. As we continute to contribute to building healthy and vibrant communities, Let's Tree Wilmot is partnering with the Township in a new special project. A two hectare site at the edge of Mannheim will become wooded area with a trail system. The trees we are planting here will feature species from the Carolinian forest zone. Why are we planting trees that typically grow south of us? Come and find out. No tree planting experience necessary, but advance registration is requested. Instructions and refreshments will be provided. This is a rain or shine event! This event involves walking and working on uneven surfaces.
