About Alexis: Alexis Christine Wild is a professional devotional artist whose work blends inspiring words, bold colour, and embodied movement into richly textured paintings. Working primarily with acrylics and plaster on canvas, Alexis layers paint with hidden affirmations, poetry, and intention, offering pieces that feel both tactile and intimate. Her work is collected worldwide and often described as “art you want to touch.” Based in London, Ontario, Alexis creates from her home studio and is also the host of the Wild Permission podcast and the curator of The Space, a grassroots small business incubator and creative venue. Across all of her work, she explores themes of permission, identity of body and soul, resilience, and personal freedom. Alexis’s practice extends beyond the canvas through live painting, exhibitions, teaching, and community-centered projects.
