Wintering Well on Gabriola

Gabriola business owners gather to share the strategies that get them through the seasons. Wintering Well Thursday, November 5th, 4-7pm Running a small business on Gabriola Island means living by the seasons for many. Summer is full-tilt, and winter requires a different kind of stamina: stretching income, managing stress, and keeping yourself well while the business is quiet. Wintering Well brings Gabriola business owners together to share the strategies that get them through the seasons, from managing cash flow and planning ahead to protecting their own health and energy. We'll start with some some guided activities followed by a facilitated peer conversation (4-5:30pm) that draws on the wisdom in the room. To close the evening, there's an optional yoga session (5:30-6:15) and a soup dinner (6:15-7:00), both free. Stay for either, both, or neither. Cost: Free for Chamber members, $10 for non-members
