His comedy is honest, relatable, and delivered with an easy charm that quickly wins over any room. The last 12 months have been very rewarding for Dan. Feature Act: Ronen Geisler Ronen Geisler is a Toronto-based stand-up comedian who spends his days in classrooms and his nights turning that material into jokes. As an Ontario-certified teacher with over a decade of experience — from ESL and LINC instruction to international high schools — he's spent years learning exactly how long you can hold a room's attention before you lose it, a skill that translates surprisingly well to comedy. On stage, Ronen's comedy draws from a life spent between cultures and classrooms: sharp observational bits, a teacher's sense of timing, and an eye for the absurd details of everyday life in Toronto. He's a regular at clubs around the city and has built a reputation for sets that are as thoughtful as they are funny — the kind of comedy that sneaks up on you.
