Little Forest Clarington

Family friendly tree prep and planting event. Help Grow Clarington's New Mini Forest The Municipality of Clarington is creating a mini forest at the Diane Hamre Recreation Centre in partnership with Little Forests Durham and the Clarington Climate Action Collective. This community-led project will help make Clarington greener, healthier, and more climate resilient by increasing tree cover, supporting local biodiversity, and creating natural spaces for future generations. Join us for the final and most exciting stage of the project as we plant hundreds of native trees and shrubs together. You are also invited to plant a tree in honour of someone who has inspired you. Note: Please bring gardening or planting gloves, wear weather-appropriate clothing, and be prepared to get a little muddy.
