HOME-RL's 6th Annual National Housing Day

Engage with the next generation of housing scholars through this year's National Housing Day event, The Future of Housing in New Brunswick. National Housing Day (November 22nd) is designated by the Government of Canada as a day to reflect on the importance of housing to our communities across the country. To recognize the importance of housing and this day, HOME-RL hosts an annual event in New Brunswick that provides members across the housing, health, and social services provision sectors to engage with research on housing in New Brunswick, while simultaneously engaging in activities that promote collaboration, shared community understandings, and learning in diverse ways. This year's Housing Day theme is The Future of Housing in New Brunswick. This event will offer attendees the opportunity to engage with the next generation of housing scholars as they present their work through posters and engage with attendees in conversations about their work. Our brilliant young scholars work closely with our senior team at HOME-RL to engage in their research, and their cutting edge approaches and refreshingly novel and modern approaches to housing scholarship is remarkable. Attendees are encouraged to arrive at their leisure starting at 10am and will be provided with the opportunity to engage with each other, students, and staff who research on housing across the province. Refreshments will be provided and attendees will be welcomed to engage in conversation with each other in our morning cafe space.
